I can't even imagine three, another life, another eternity

Creeping, inching, closer to
not the end, but the starting line.
I steady my feet, but before I am ready,
the starting gate opens wide.
My feet stuck like glue,

I sold my old couch today, twenty dollars cash.
My impression was much too deep, new couch, new beginning.

I've gotten too comfortable, but not in my own shoes.
